SINGLE BOX BATTERY
SBB batteries have been developed to allow for the easy installation of 14.5kWh of high performance battery capacity in single-module installations as well as for expanded capacities in increments of 14.5kWh. Up to 9 x SBB modules can be connected in parallel for a total installed capacity of >130kWh. The integrated BMS in SBB batteries is a completely redesigned version of the BMS integrated in our High Current & Battery Rack Series (discontinued but still supported since April 2024). Several new improvements have been made to the new BMS in SBB modules, while parallel integration functionality with the legacy BMS it is based on remains intact. This means that SBB batteries are 100% parallel-compatible with existing HC & BR installations.

BMAC
Our proprietary BMAC (Battery Monitor and Control) modules have been developed to provide extended supportive functionalities in systems containing one or more BMAC-compatible BlueNova batteries. The latest standard version BMAC pictured above is rated for integration in up to 48VDC architectures, to either establish or improve existing functionalities.
Benefits
BlueNova’s BMAC (Battery Monitor and Control) module is an electronic device that can be installed with most BlueNova batteries and compatible inverters / relevant peripheral devices to enable or improve upon existing serial (CAN) communication functionality.
BMAC modules can also be configured to transmit serial data to allow for the remote monitoring of system performance & health variables via the BlueNova Live Monitoring Web Platform. This requires an internet-connected Wi-Fi access point to be present and within range of the module.
BMAC LIVE MONITORING PLATFORM
Real-time remote monitoring is one of the key features enabled with the inclusion of BMAC modules in compatible systems. On-site requirements include an internet-connected Wifi access point within range of the installation & completion of the relevant setup procedures. Performance & health variables of BlueNova batteries and select peripherals (real-time as well as historical data) would then be accessible by logging in to the live web platform.
